Grand Island, NE — Heartland Public Shooting Park is excited to announce they will host the 2026 USPSA Area 3 Championships, on September 4-6, 2026.

Nearly 300 competitors are registered for the competition.  Area 3 consists of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota with 57 active clubs.  The Match Director is Jeff Hickman

“We’re excited to host the 2026 USPSA Area 3 Championships this year,” said Tom Busch, HPSP Manager. “Our facility is very well-equipped to handle a high-level match like this.  All of the top shooters from the area come to compete, and we’ll ensure they have a world-class venue to do so.”

The Heartland Public Shooting Park, now managed by Hornady, is one of the largest, most complete public shooting facilities in the Midwest with many recreational and competitive activities taking place every year. Amenities include world-class shotgun ranges, Olympic bunker trap, several handgun and rifle ranges out to 600-yards, archery ranges, action shooting bays, a 7-acre fishing pond and RV park.
