5-Stand

Five Stand is a shotgun sport that combines elements of trap, skeet and sporting clays. But many find it to be more action-packed than trap with more crossing/flying patterns than skeet and faster than sporting clays.

Targets are shot in 25-bird increments from five shooting stands with up to five shooters rotating from station to station. Targets are released in a predetermined sequence of presentations marked on a menu card in front of each shooting stand.

Clays are thrown from six to eight automatic traps aligned to throw various crossing, sliding, dropping and stand and fall patterns.
