The Heartland Public Shooting Park is one of the largest and most complete public shooting facilities in the Midwest. With a wide variety of world-class ranges, regular leagues, and major national events, it’s a year-round destination for both recreational shooters and competitive athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Heartland Public Shooting Park offers a wide range of shooting facilities, including nine lighted skeet fields, eight lighted trap ranges, three 10-station sporting clays courses with Super Sporting, Olympic Bunker Trap, a covered handgun range, rifle ranges out to 600 yards, a dedicated rimfire range, archery ranges with seasonal 3D targets, and action shooting bays used for 3-Gun, steel challenge, and more.

Events

Heartland Public Shooting Park hosts a full calendar of competitive and recreational events throughout the year. Major events include the 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships, Zombies in the Heartland 3-Gun Match, the USPSA Area 3 Championship, the Cornhusker State Games, the Nebraska State Shotgun Championships, monthly 3-Gun matches, Steel Challenge, cowboy action shooting, weekly pistol leagues, and numerous charity shoots. Leagues for skeet, trap, and sporting clays are coming soon.

Fishing Pond

Seven acre catch and release pond stocked with Bass, Bluegill and Catfish. Nebraska fishing license required. Barbless hooks only.

RV Park

60 & 120 ft cement camping pads with 20,30 and 50 amp hook ups. Additional limited primitive tent camping availability. Call for details and reservations.
