Olympic Bunker Trap
The Heartland Public Shooting Park is the only facility in Nebraska to offer Olympic Bunker Trap.
Also known as International Bunker Trap, the Olympic version varies from American Trap in several ways. Olympic Bunker Trap uses 15 fixed-angle machines rather than a single oscillating one.
In addition, the targets fly faster, at a speed of 68 mph. They also fly at wider angles, up to 45 degrees, and can be thrown higher or lower than in American Trap. Shooters get 125 shots for men and 75 shots for women.
Olympic Bunker Trap requires faster reaction times and a new challenge to shooters used to American Trap.
