The Loup Platte Ringnecks Chapter of Pheasants Forever is excited to announce the 2025 Youth Mentor Pheasant Hunt, happening Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Heartland Shooting Park in Grand Island, NE. This one-of-a-kind event pairs young hunters with experienced mentors for a full day of hands-on learning, including shooting instruction, dog training, habitat education, and a live bird hunt.

Open to youth ages 13–14 who hold a Nebraska Hunter Safety certificate and are members of the Pheasants Forever Ringnecks, this program emphasizes safe, ethical hunting and conservation practices. Space is limited to just 18 participants, so early registration is encouraged!
