Grand Island, NE — Heartland Public Shooting Park will host the 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships on June 23-28, 2024, in Grand Island, NE.

The 4-H National Championship will draw nearly 1,000 competitors from over 40 states across the country to compete in nine different shooting sports. Disciplines include recurve and compound archery, small bore rifle and pistol, hunting skills, muzzleloading, rifle and pistol airgun, and shotgun.

“We are excited to host the 4-H National Championship at the Heartland Public Shooting Park for the 14th consecutive year” said Tom Busch, HPSP Manager. “This event is open to the public and we encourage anyone interested to come out and enjoy the competition,” he added.

The Heartland Public Shooting Park, now managed by Hornady, is one of the largest, most complete public shooting facilities in the Midwest with many recreational and competitive activities taking place every year. Amenities include world-class shotgun ranges, Olympic bunker trap, several handgun and rifle ranges out to 600-yards, archery ranges, action shooting bays, a 7-acre fishing pond and RV park.
